First Things First: Let’s Bust Some Myths…

A Life Coach Will Do It All For You

A life coach cannot find your life purpose or passion for you. they can only guide you on how to find your life purpose and hope that you are ready to take action to follow the steps towards your own success
You Are The Answer

A life coach cannot be expected to find your mission and life purpose for you, no one can do it for you, we are all different, you can be directed and guided but it needs to come from you.

You are the one who holds the key to your own success.

If you are not willing to take action yourself to accomplish your own goals than a life coach cannot do much to help you.

A life coach is perfect for helping people who already decided that they had enough and decided that they WANT to turn things around in their life.

You Have To Have It All Figured Out By A Certain Age

The main thing you need to get started with just needs to be in tune enough with yourself to be able to know what things in life give you meaning and happiness – this is different for everyone.

Stick to pursuing a path that feels right at this point in your life and that is aligned with your values and moral standards. The rest will unfold as you go.

You Have To Make Up Your Mind And Stick With It Forever

Sometimes obsessing over trying to find your life purpose can become the problem itself.

Don’t waste your time trying to neat pick every move you’ll make in the future. It will cause you to miss out on all of the current opportunities and chances in your life.

Say Goodbye To Your Fears & Take Action

Analyze The Situation

Start by asking yourself some S.M.A.R.T. questions.

Avoid Broad Questions Like:

  • What are you put on this earth to do?
  • Identify the “why” behind everything you do
  • What is your life purpose?

Instead, Ask Yourself:

  • What did you enjoy doing most of when you were a kid? Like 5 to 10 years old?
  • Which struggle or sacrifice are you willing to tolerate?
  • Are you ever so deeply interested in something that you forget to even eat because you get almost obsessive about it?
  • And finally, what do you want to want to accomplish or experience?

Let’s See What The Experts Have To Say About How To Find Your Life Purpose

On one of Adam Leipzig’s Ted Talks, he explains that you should be able to identify your “life purpose” just by answering the following 5 questions.

  • What do you love to do?
  • Is there something you able to teach others? What do you do?
  • Who do you do it for?
  • What do they want or need?
  • And how have they changed as a result?
These Tedtalks about how to find your life purpose by Terri Trespicio and Adam Leipzig might provide some clarity

While based on this Tedtalk, Terri Trespicio’s believes the following:

  • Find whatever feels right now and passion will come.
  • Don’t wait, just start doing

She explains that because we change our mind on our major multiple times, passion changes and that it is senseless to get anxious and over-analyze something that might not fit you a few years from now

And even though these are valid points of view, I felt I needed something more…

Let’s Take It A Step Further, So You Can Actually Find Out How To Find Your Life Purpose

Jack Canfield wrote a book called the success principles and it is through that book that I realized what my life life purpose was and I think it would help you too to figure out how to find your life purpose
I Love Reading Because It Allows You To Interpret The Message How You Receive It Best

My very FAVORITE way to look at things is the way Jack Canfield explained them in his book “The Success Principles”

I LOVE this book and recommend everyone to check it out

I believe the original idea he got Arnold M. Paton author of “The Journey” (which I have not read yet)

As he explains, we need to take 100% responsibility for our lives and what happens in them. There should be no room for excuses or complaints.

NO Excuses And NO Complains

You need to give up excuses and complaints once and for all if you want to succeed.

Homework

A good way to figure out how to find your life purpose is by eliminating all excuses and complaints and teaching your subconscious mind that there is a cost associated with complaining
Realize That Excuses & Complaints Have A Cost

Put $2 in a jar every time you “slip up” and make an excuse, not to punish yourself, but because you want to teach your subconscious that there is always a cost associated when taking that route.

Clear your mind, forgive yourself for the past, and be ready to celebrate your new awareness.

Un-initiated people will give up after the lows and plateaus in their journey but you are not like that.

Don’t give up and be patient because if you are, you will eventually breakthrough!

Remember that success will take patience, perseverance, time, and effort.

Ask yourself:

  • Which job do you love so much that you would do it for free but that you could still get paid for?
  • What do you want to accomplish? To experience?
  • What does success look like to you?

It could sound something like:

  • To inspire people through….
  • By empowering people to live their dreams through…
  • To facilitate people to…
